Stunning 1960s bolero wedding dress

This is a truly elegant vintage wedding dress dating from the late 1960s/early 1970s. I would describe this as a size 8 but please check my measurements.

It is a sheer white material which drapes beautifully throughout. The top part is fitted and has long sheer sleeves. The cuffs are pleated frills which is a lovely detail. It has embroidered flower appliques around the waist on the front. Some of these hang below the waistline. The back is plain. The skirt flares out to the floor from under the bust line. It has a train behind.

What I love about this dress is the attached bolero across the shoulders at the front. The same pleated ruffles come around the neck and down to under the arm pit creating this bolero effect. Within it are a mass of appliqued flowers all different sizes.

It has a back zip and 2 hook and eye fastenings. It is fuilly lined except the sleeves. The material is polyester. It has labels inside so came from a retailler but there is no brand label.

It is in stunning condition, no rips, tears, stains or odours.

Dress: Bust: 32" Waist: 26" Hips: 44",  Total length: 60".

It is washed and aired.
