Vintage 1970s leather tassle bag

This is a vintage boho bag in a dark brown colour. It is a saddle bag with a front flap and long strap. It fastens by a strip of leather folding through a slot on the front. It has really nice detailing: red and blue beads in a circle on the flap, woven swirls of raised leather under the flap, long leather tassles either side....gorgeous! It has a real hippy, red Indian feel to it. Inside it has an inner pocket. It dates from the 70s/80s

It is in good condition, the leather is nicely worn especially on the corners. The stitching on the strap has come undone in places.   It measures 8" wide, 10" tall and 2.5" deep. The strap measures 35" long.
